WWE has not run a show with fans in attendance in over two months. While there is still little idea as to when the world will return to normal, the company has started talking about their live event schedule.
The highly reputable WrestleVotes Twitter account reported that the promotion is discussing matters such as ticket sales and social distancing practices. Here is their tweet:
I’m hearing that internally the WWE live event schedule is slowly being rebuilt. I’m still not expecting anything with fans prior to July, however. Discussions about ticket sales going forward have also begun, with social distancing guildlines remaining in place. That’s tricky.

We have reported that those in the company badly want to see SummerSlam take place in front of people. However, that continues to look less and less likely as time goes on. The show is currently scheduled to take place on August 23, in Boston.
WWE’s next pay per view event is scheduled to be Backlash and it will air on June 14. It will likely air from the Performance Center in Orlando. They also had another show scheduled between Backlash and SummerSlam, Extreme Rules is scheduled for July 19.
