AEW star Rush has not appeared on AEW programming since May, when he lost to Jack Perry ahead of Double or Nothing.
Rush has since re-signed with AEW, with him now waiting to make his return to AEW television.
Well, that turn technically happened on last night’s (August 19) Collision, where Rush phoned Jose the Assistant, ordering Dralistico and Preston Vance to be kindnapped during a trip to Mexico.
While Rush was mentioned as the man behind that attack, he did not physically appear on screen.
Taking to Twitter today following the show, Rush spoke about the segment and his upcoming return to the show.
He wrote:

Los Faccion Ingobernable member Andrade El Idolo recently feuded with the House of Black, which many thought was leading to the return of the other LFI members for a Trios Championship match.
Instead, the House of Black have turned their attention to the Acclaimed and Billy Gunn following the latter’s seeming retirement.
