Rev Pro World Of Pro Wrestling – Live Coverage

Zack Sabre Jr def. Kushida

Zack Sabre Jr and Kushida put on a wrestling masterclass in the first main event of World of Pro Wrestling.

Trading kicks and submission attempts throughout, it looked for a while as though we might reach our 30-minute time limit without a winner.

Both men were visibly exhausted towards the end of the match, and it was ZSJ’s incredible stamina that helped him pull through.

Locking Kushida in the “Orienteering with Napalm Death” submission hold, the current IWGP Junior Heavyweight champion was unable to escape and was forced to tap out.

A great end to a great show.

Dominator Great O Kharn vs Harrison Thompson

Well that was quick.

The Dominator was, well, pretty dominant.

Nothing more than a squash match, Great O Kharn wins with a Claw Chokeslam to his hapless opponent.

Poor Harrison.

Jushin Thunder Liger def. Chris Brookes]

And it was experience that took the victory this week.

Liger hits Brookes with the brain-buster for the pinfall. He attempts to show respect to Brookes, but Brookes attacks the legend, stamping on his downed opponent.

Luckily for Liger, he has some friends in the back, and El Fantasmo rushes out to make the save. Brookes showing his true colours in the face of defeat.

Chris Brookes vs Jushin Thunder Liger

Chris Brooks is using his speed and agility to dominate Liger in the early stages of the match.

He manages to trap Liger in the ring apron, stamping on his face. Brookes is certainly playing the heel in this bout.

The 6ft 5ins Brookes has the size advantage, but Liger, who is soon to celebrate 30 years in pro wrestling, is using his experience to battle back into the match.
