Tony Khan Addresses Potential AEW In-Ring Debut

Tony Khan Addresses Potential AEW In-Ring Debut AEW

AEW President Tony Khan has commented on the possibility of him making his pro-wrestling debut and wrestling a match for AEW.

While Khan doesn’t really have an on-screen character, he’ll occasionally appear on AEW TV to deliver a HUGE announcement.

While speaking with Levack and Goz, Tony Khan was asked about his potential in-ring debut.

Believing that nobody would be interested in watching a Tony Khan match, Khan noted that he’d rather be behind the camera booking the matches.

Not completely ruling an in-ring debut out, he said:

“I don’t think that anybody really wants to see that. Maybe, maybe. But not anytime soon, and that’s not anything I think that we’re gonna do.

“But I do think AEW has a great roster, the best wrestlers in the world, and I would rather try to put (on) the best matches and we’ve got some really exciting rivalries that are building in AEW right now.

“I think anybody who’s watching it week-to-week can tell you, this week’s show, this Wednesday, was probably the best show we’ve done.”
