The Judgment Day added their latest accolade to their collection on this week’s episode of WWE NXT.

The main event of the show saw ‘Dirty’ Dominik Mysterio defeat Wes Lee to become the new NXT North American Champion.

This victory marks Dominik’s first singles championship in WWE, and now makes both him and his ‘Mami’ champions in the company.

Taking to Twitter today, Rhea Ripley shared a photo of her and Dominik both as champions for the first time.

The appearance of Dominik on NXT did big numbers for the show, scoring the second highest rating for the show since 2021 behind only Seth Rollins’ appearance at NXT Gold Rush.

The change may have caused major changes to NXT creative plans, with the previously announced match between Wes Lee and Mustafa Ali no longer being advertised for the Great American Bash next weekend.

WWE reportedly sees the Judgment Day as the potential successor to the Bloodline story, with their recent segments returning big viewers on social media.
