A WWE Hall of Famer has showered the efforts of the company’s women’s division following the WWE Women’s Championship match between IYO SKY and Charlotte Flair on SmackDown (October 20).
While SKY’s first-ever singles title defence against Flair had a controversial finish, the action that preceded it far from disappointed the rowdy San Antonio, TX crowd.
Along with the fans in attendance, the match also received plenty plaudits from 16-time world champion Ric Flair, who took to Twitter to congratulate his daughter Charlotte, IYO and the entire women’s division.
Flair said:
Congratulations To The @WWE Women’s Division!
You Just Made The Boys Look So Lame Because You All Are Just SO GOOD! WOOOOO!
Flair has never made it secret of his admiration for WWE’s female talent, particularly his daughter’s efforts between the ropes.
With the Nature Boy clearly keeping a keen eye on his daughter’s activity, he would also recently address the much talked about backstage confrontation between Charlotte and WWE’s newest marquee signing Jade Cargill.
