After Ricky Starks won the Dynamite Diamond Ring Battle Royal, his celebration was cut short by AEW World Champ, MJF.
Not one to let someone else capture the shine, Maxwell Jacob Friedman came out to deliver a scathing promo on Starks however, the segment didn’t end there.
With MJF arriving on the scene and noting that the people seemed to really like “Richard,” around here, he went on to point out the “truth” to Ricky Starks.
MJF said that in comparison to him, “you are the absolute, drizzling s**ts, or should I say that you’re a ‘Roody-Poo Candy Ass’?”
Going on to accuse him of stealing “everything else from that guy,” MJF called Ricky Starks a “dollar store Dwayne,” and went on to say that he would henceforth be referring to Starks as ‘Pebble’.
MJF then threatened to send Starks, “All the way back to Billy Corgan’s NWA so you can wrestle on YouTube where you belong!”
However whereas a typical segment would end there, not tonight.
Ricky Starks got a chance to showcase his insane acumen on the mic to respond to Max.
Kicking off the scathing promo, by calling MJF “Maxi-pad”, he called him a “fifth-rate Roddy Piper wannabe,” before going on to land zing after zing.
Noting that “the low hanging fruit is running dry partna,” Starks noted that everything on MJF from his shoes, to his tan to his heat is cheap!
After winning the opportunity to face MJF for a title shot, Ricky Starks will fight for AEW’s top prize at the Winter is Coming edition of AEW Dynamite.
