While many people have their attention on a Roman Reigns championship milestone, the Tribal Chief is set to achieve another major feat before WrestleMania 39.
At the Show of Shows, Roman Reigns will defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship against Royal Rumble winner Cody Rhodes.
While many believe that Rhodes is the right person to dethrone Reigns, it has also been heavily speculated that Reigns will retain his gold in order to reach 1000 days as Universal Champion.
As of Saturday (March 25), Reigns has held the Universal Title for 937 days, meaning that he’d have to hold the gold until May 27 to pass this milestone.
Reigns will pass an arguably just as impressive milestone in four days time. On March 29, Reigns will have went 1200 days without being pinned.
The last star to keep Roman Reigns’ shoulders down for the three-count was Baron Corbin, who defeated Reigns at the November 2019 TLC premium live event.
Reigns has technically suffered losses since then, with his teammates taking the falls in tag bouts.
As mentioned, Reigns has held the Universal Title for almost 1000 days, since defeating Bray Wyatt and Braun Strowman at the August 2020 Payback show.
He unified the Universal Championship with the WWE Title after defeating Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 38 in April 2022.
