Current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns was on hand to present the ‘Best Pop’ award at the 2020 MTV European Music Awards.
The nominees for the award were Katy Perry, Justin Bieber, Harry Styles, Dua Lipa, Lady Gaga, BTS, and winners Little Mix.
A smiling Reigns said:
“You might be wondering why a WWE Universal Champion is presenting an award for pop music. Well, I’m 6’3″, with arms like these, and I can throw a man clean out of the ring. So who the heck’s gonna stop me? Also, I really love pop music.”
The appearance was definitely a contrast to what we’ve become used to with Reigns recently following his heel turn and the whole ‘Tribal Chief’ storyline.
