Roman Reigns has revealed whether or not he’d argue with Vince McMahon if he was asked to drop the Universal Championship.
Reigns is currently the longest reigning Universal Champion of all time, holding the title for an impressive 517 days. Fans often speculate over the star that will eventually defeat the Tribal Chief, ending his historic reign.
Speaking on the Sports Illustrated Media podcast, Reigns pointed out that the Universal Title changing hands would have a big effect on WWE as a whole. When asked whether or not he would argue with Vince McMahon if hypothetically asked to drop the championship, Reigns said:
“I’d have to be in it. It’s hard to speculate on that. I’d have to be in that situation to truly know where I was. I’d have to see all the different variables and be able to see the event of that chain reaction and how it would affect everything. That’s such a tricky question that I don’t even know how to honestly explain what my mindset would be.”
“I’m the man, yeah, he better listen (laughs). He better acknowledge me. Who else is there?”
Reigns defends his gold against Seth Rollins during WWE Royal Rumble. McMahon has reportedly taken an ‘extremely tight look‘ at creative plans for tonight’s show.
