A fellow WWE Hall of Famer has called out Kane over a controversial take.
Sean Waltman, formerly known as X-Pac, has a lot of history with Kane in WWE as tag team partners and rivals.
Gun violence in the United States has been a hot topic as of late in the mainstream news cycle. It has been heavily debated among politicians, such as Knox County mayor Kane.
The WWE Hall of Famer took to Twitter this week to share a video showcasing reported statistics that downplay the amount of gun violence there is in America in comparison to other countries.
He also wrote in a followup tweet:
“Every violent death is a tragedy. That said, the mainstream media would have you believe that America is the land of gun violence and mass shootings when, in fact, as Hannah D. Cox points out, our per capita rates of gun deaths are actually much lower than many other countries.”

Kane’s former tag team partner Waltman then replied with a quote tweet saying:
“Breaks my heart reading this s–t from you. Wtf man?!”

X-Pac and Kane were two-time WWE Tag Team Champions together back in 1999 before X-Pac turned on the Big Red Machine to reunite with D-Generation X.
Kane, real name Glenn Jacobs, recently won the Republican primary unopposed in the Knox County mayoral race.
