Seth Rollins Throws Shade At Paul Heyman

Ahead of their WWE Universal Championship match at the Royal Rumble, Seth Rollins has some choice words about Roman Reigns’ former special council, Paul Heyman.

When discussing Reigns’ mocking Rollins for seemingly copying promo material from John Cena, Rollins told the New York Post:

“I’d much rather Cena write my promo than Paul Heyman. One of those guys drew major money and the other stole money.”

Noting that this will be Reigns’ first title defense without Heyman and/or the Usos in his corner, Rollins went on to say:

“That puts him at a disadvantage. The Usos being barred from ringside puts him at a disadvantage. Me being in his head puts him at a disadvantage. I would suggest I’m the betting favorite going into this match. I feel like I have him right where I want him.”

The Royal Rumble premium live event is scheduled to be held this Saturday, January 29 with major matches also announced elsewhere on the card including Bobby Lashley challenging Brock Lesnar for the WWE Championship, Doudrop challenging Rollins’ real-life wife Becky Lynch for her WWE Raw Women’s Championship and the titular Royal Rumble matches.
