Several Matches Announced For Next Week’s NXT

Several matches have been announced for next week’s episode of NXT.

The first of which was a Roderick Strong open challenge. Malcolm Bivens called Strong the uncrowned Cruiserweight Champion and said the open challenge would be a test before facing Kushida.

It was also announced that Ridge Holland will face Tommaso Ciampa. Holland defeated Timothy Thatcher on tonight’s show before Ciampa attacked him after the match. They also brawled later in the show as well. Ciampa and Thatcher had argued over who would get to face Holland first and now it’s Ciampa’s turn.

William Regal announced that LA Knight will take on Johnny Gargano next week. This stems from a backstage altercation that took place this week. Gargano was trying to talk Regal out of having the Index wedding on NXT when Knight interrupted and both were kicked out.

Finally, Kyle O’Reilly will be facing Duke Hudson. Kyle was backstage being interviewed about being attacked by Ridge Holland when Hudson interrupted and Kyle snapped and started brawling with him.

• LA Knight vs. Johnny Gargano
