ROH has announced a Six Man Tag Team Championship match for the December 11 Final Battle event, ahead of the promotion’s hiatus.
In the latest edition of ROH Week By Week, it was revealed that Moses, Kaun & O’Shay Edwards of Shane Taylor Promotions will defend the gold against Vincent, Bateman & Dutch of The Righteous on the pay-per-view.
Edwards will take Shane Taylor’s place in the group for the match, as Taylor is set to face off against Kenny King on the show.
ROH has released all talent from their contracts ahead of the promotion being ‘reimagined’ after the Final Battle event. Releases reportedly come into effect at the end of the year.
The promotion will halt live events following the pay-per-view, anticipating a return in April 2022 for Supercard of Honor. ROH reportedly plans to focus on non-contracted wrestlers after the reboot.
Here is the updated line-up for ROH Final Battle:
- Bandido vs. Jonathan Gresham – ROH World Championship
- Josh Woods vs. Brian Johnson – ROH Pure Championship
- Rok-C (c) vs. either Willow Nightingale or Mandy Leon – ROH Women’s Championship (#1 contenders match to air on December 4 episode of ROH TV)
- The OGK vs. The Briscoes – ROH Tag Team Championship
- Shane Taylor Promotions (c) vs. The Righteous – ROH Six-Man Tag Team Championship
- Shane Taylor vs. Kenny King
