SmackDown Star Gives Funny Reason For Changing Ring Gear

A WWE SmackDown star and former Universal Champion has provided a funny reason for why he’s changed up his ring attire in recent weeks.

Kevin Owens seems to have traded in his shorts for jeans, which prompted some questions on social media from his fans as to what brought the change about.

Answering that very question, Owens replied:

One of the most successful wrestlers of all time wore jorts for most of his career. I’m trying to subtly get there.

First, I wear shorts for years.

Then I wear jeans for years.

Then, one day, BOOM! JORTS!

Except this way, nobody notices anything out of the ordinary when I do.

Cena’s jorts have not only been the subject of many jokes over the years, but many fellow WWE stars, including Randy Orton, have said they thought it was a genius idea and they wish they’d done it instead of wearing traditional trunks.

Owens qualified to be a member of the SmackDown men’s Survivor Series team with a win over Dolph Ziggler this past Friday.
