Ever since Vince McMahon’s retirement from WWE, and Triple H taking over WWE creative, various WWE stars have seen themselves slowly revert back to their gimmicks from their days in NXT.
The changes have either been small, like Austin Theory and Matt Riddle being given their first names back, to Giovanni Vinci reverting to his days in Imperium rather than his solo gimmick in NXT 2.0.
Another former NXT star who saw themselves undergo a change on the main roster was Shotzi, who also lost her Blackheart surname, as well as her signature tank entrance following her heel turn last November.
However, per Fightful Select (subscription required), there were plans as of last night for WWE to deliver the tank to Anaheim, California, the sight of tonight’s (September 16) SmackDown show.
Other plans have been put in place for tonight’s show, including one pitch to make a big change to an announced match on the show, as well as plans for Damage CTRL to appear on the show.
Logan Paul will also make his WWE return tonight following a Twitter interaction with Roman Reigns and Paul Heyman after Reigns’ appearance on ImPaulsive.
