WrestleMania 39 night one featured the anticipated match between father and son Rey Mysterio and Dominik Mysterio.
During the match, the Latino World Order (formerly Legado Del Fantasma) and Judgment Day came to ringside to support Rey and Dominik respectively, and ended up brawling with each other.
However, they weren’t the only outside elements to the match, as Bad Bunny was on Spanish commentary, but that wasn’t his only involvement.
Bunny got up from the announce position and prevented Dominik from using a chain, in turn helping Rey score the win.
It also just so happens that Bunny was announced as the ‘host’ of the WWE Backlash event in Puerto Rico on May 6.
Fightful Select reported on Saturday that there was a plan for an angle going forward between Dominik and Bunny, and we might just get the next chapter of that tonight.
Fightful is now reporting that Bunny is set for an appearance on Raw tonight.
According to the report, Bunny will have a “front row seat for a segment”.
This hasn’t been reported and isn’t confirmed, but of course there’s speculation about the possibility of Bunny wrestling a match at Backlash, so tonight could be the continuation of building to that.
We’ll let you know any more updates as they emerge.
