Tonight’s (May 19) episode of SmackDown will be the second episode of the show since the rosters set up in the 2023 WWE Draft will be in full effect.
On last week’s show, Cameron Grimes made his debut, defeating Baron Corbin in three seconds, and this week will see the debuts of both Grayson Waller and Pretty Deadly.
Pretty Deadly are set for a tag team match against Ridge Holland and Butch of the Brawling Brutes, while Grayson Waller will host the Grayson Waller Effect with AJ Styles.
Per Fightful Select (subscription required), we now have more of an idea on what is planned for the new call-ups on tonight’s show.
The Grayson Waller Effect is set to have a similar presentation on the show as it had in NXT, complete with plants, monitors, a desk, leather chairs and more.
As for Pretty Deadly, alongside the match with Ridge and Butch, they are set to film a ‘chef-inspired’ vignette today.
Alba Fyre and Isla Dawn, who were also called up in the Draft, have also yet to make their official debut, but there is no reports on if they will be a part of tonight’s show.
AJ’s appearance on the Grayson Waller Effect seems set to set up Styles’ next feud in the company, which you can read about here.
