Stephanie McMahon Leave From WWE ‘Been Brewing For Quite A While’

The wrestling world is still buzzing after the announcement of Stephanie McMahon taking a leave of absence from WWE.

Per Fightful Select (subscription required), the news of McMahon’s leave “didn’t come overnight” and had been brewing for quite a while.

There were plenty of people who were caught off guard by the announcement around the office.

Members of WWE’s PR team and several members of the media were made aware ahead of time, but held off on revealing the information until Stephanie made it official.

WWE sources have confirmed that it wasn’t martial issues between Stephanie McMahon and Triple H, but Fightful also stated that they do not report on personal relationships unless they speak on it publicly.
