WWE NXT commentator and Hall of Famer Booker T has commented on the possibility of him attending Sting’s retirement match.
Wrestling veteran Sting will wrestle his final match at this weekend’s (March 3) AEW Revolution pay-per-view, teaming with Darby Allin to take on Matthew and Nicholas Jackson of the Young Bucks in a tag-team bout.
Speaking on his Hall of Fame podcast, Booker T noted that he “definitely would consider it” if he was invited to be there for Sting’s last match.
He explained:
“If I was off and I was invited, I probably would go. I mean, no one has invited me. Sting and I, we were close in a lot of ways.
“I wouldn’t necessarily say Sting and I were like friends or buddies that hung out or anything.
“We’ve never hung out or anything like that, but I have always had the utmost respect for Steve.
“If I was invited to be at his last last match, I definitely would consider it, you know, if I was off. If I’m off, I’m always available.”
This all comes after Kevin Nash revealing that he won’t be a part of Sting’s retirement because he feels loyal to WWE over AEW.
Booker T has recently been off WWE TV due to a recent medical procedure.
The Hall of Famer recently provided an update on his status, which you can read more about right here.
