Stokely Hathaway Next Match Revealed

Stokely Hathaway Next Match Revealed AEW

On tonight’s episode of Ring of Honor, it seems that the next match for ROH Board of Directors member Stokely Hathaway has been revealed.

In a backstage segment, Hathaway was describing how he felt about the Eliminator tournament for a title shot against ROH TV Champion Samoa Joe – he might just do it again for whoever would be next up for Joe.

It was then that he was interrupted by Dalton Castle (with the Boys) who demanded another opportunity at Samoa Joe after Death Before Dishonor saw “the fans cheated” according to Castle.

It was then that Samoa Joe interrupted to tell Castle if he was so set on retribution and a rematch, fine he could have one.

In two weeks, Samoa Joe announced that he will tag team with Stokely Hathaway to take on The Boys and then walked off!

Dalton Castle for his part remained annoyed, wondering aloud how this move benefited him at all whilst Stokely Hathaway was shocked.

Big Stoke has actually competed in two matches in 2023 in AEW; a just over three minute match where he was basted by HOOK and of course, the Firm Deletion match.

This would be his ROH debut in the Tony Khan era of the company and first in Ring of Honor match in general since 2015.
