A surprising WWE Raw star may be turning heel, or at the very least, undergoing something of a personality shift.
The WWE Draft recently took place and is obviously a good chance to hit the reset button on some talents so they can start afresh on their new brand.
One of those names appears to be Tegan Nox, who was moved from SmackDown to Raw in said draft.
Nox hasn’t actually been on Raw since the switch, but she was on this week’s episode of Main Event, which was taped before Raw this past Monday (May 15).
During Main Event, Nox appeared to adopt a more serious persona, including a pre-taped promo before her match, during which she said:
“On SmackDown, I was known as the ‘nice girl’ of the locker room. But I’m on Raw now – the red brand. I’m Welsh for god’s sakes, we have the red dragon. So I’m gonna beat people up, and I’m gonna enjoy doing it.”
As mentioned earlier, it’s not 100% clear if this signifies a full heel turn or not, but Nox’s match was against Nikki Cross, who most recently was presented as a babyface on Raw on the opposite side of heel Zoey Stark, and Nox did work as the heel in the ring.
Also, it was Main Event, so maybe it was just a case of trying something out that may or may not actually make it to Raw anyway. If you’re interested, it was Cross that won the match.
You can see a video of Nox’s promo below, as well as a clip from the match showing Nox working as the heel.
Nox was one of the multiple names released by WWE in November 2021, but she returned in December 2022.
