An AEW star gets a shout out at a rap concert.
In November 2022, rapper Rick Ross made his debut on AEW Dynamite alongside Swerve Strickland.
A month later, Ross was back on the show for Swerve’s introduction of his Mogul Affiliates stable when they beat down Keith Lee to formally break up the Swerve In Our Glory tag team.
Now, it seems like Strickland was visiting his friend at one of his latest concerts.
Over the weekend, Swerve Strickland posted a photo with himself alongside Rick Ross backstage at his concert. He later posted a video where the rapper shouted out Swerve on stage during his set.
As previously reported, Strickland has talked about Ross being fully invested into his storylines and improvising his promo on his AEW appearance. It has also been mentioned that Swerve Strickland will finally go one-on-one with Keith Lee at the upcoming AEW Double Or Nothing, which you can read here.
