Last night’s AEW: Dynamite was one of the best in recent memory. The show featured Jeff Cobb’s debut for the promotion in a match with Jon Moxley and an awesome Steel Cage match between Wardlow, who was also making his AEW debut, and Cody.
However, AEW is certainly loading next week’s show too in an attempt to ensure fans watch their show instead of NXT on the USA Network.
AEW announced a few weeks ago that PAC and Kenny Omega will compete in a thirty-minute Iron Match match. It is crazy to think that this match is being given away on TV, especially considering it features two of the world’s best wrestlers.
Now AEW has announced another match for next week’s blockbuster go-home show for Revolution.
The Butcher and The Blade will take on The Best Friends in a tag team match. This comes after Allie kicked Orange Cassidy in the Crown Jewels during the tag team battle royale on this week’s episode of Dynamite.
AEW has really done well at putting over its tag team division as one of its main features, something that WWE has been heavily criticised for not doing.
By comparison, NXT has announced a very exciting Tommaso Ciampa match and Finn Balor segment for next week’s episode on the USA Network.
