Tag Team Title Match Added To Next Week’s Raw

The Viking Raiders wrestled Robert Roode and Dolph Zigger in a WWE Draft Showcase Match.  The Viking Raiders picked a victory over the current champions.

It was later announced the Viking Raiders would get a title shot next week on WWE Raw.  This comes as a result of them picking up the win tonight.

The Viking Raiders could win the titles next Monday and the be immediately drafted to Smackdown. The WWE draft begins this Friday on Smackdown.

The Viking Raiders have a terrific moveset and are former NXT Tag Team Champion.  However, they have yet to get the Raw crowds behind them like they’ve had in other companies.

Part of that was the start/stop booking of WWE.  The other part was the fact they wrestled in squash matches for seemingly forever.

They’ve faced The O.C. several times over the past month and have picked up victories.  Now they’ve got their sights set on winning their first gold on Raw.

Next week we’ll see if they can beat the veteran tag team or if this is just the beginning of a longer feud.  However, with Vince still at the helm, you never know when their push might end because on of them sneezes or gets a cough.
