An AEW star wants to win a title upon their return.

The wrestling world was pleasantly surprised to find out that Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo would be having their first child together when the couple announced their pregnancy at AEW Double Or Nothing.

Since then, Melo has been out of in-ring action. However, she has continued to appear on AEW programming, specifically in the ongoing Jericho Appreciation Society breakup storyline involving Chris Jericho and Don Callis.

On the latest edition of Sammy Guevara’s vlog, Tay was asked to name some of the goals for her return to the ring. She answered:

“I wanna get a title. All the belts, I’m not kidding. I’m gonna go for it all. Of course, I want the world title. But I’m up to do the TBS [Title] too.”

“It’s literally like I was never motivated enough, I think. It’s almost like, ‘Yeah, everybody wants a title.’ But I was never like, ‘I want it more than anything,’ and right now, I do.”

“So I’m getting it because I don’t know one thing in my life that I wanted to do and I never did. So it is what it is.”

Sammy Guevara and Tay Melo recently walked out on Chris Jericho during their Jericho Appreciation Society mandatory meeting on the August 9 edition of AEW Dynamite.

Jericho will finally make his decision regarding Don Callis and his family on this Wednesday’s August 16 episode.
