Update: It should be noted that the video shared by The Boogeyman is actually a repost of the same video he shared on December 10, 2021.
Former WWE star The Boogeyman revealed today that he signed a new WWE contract, most likely a legends deal.
The Boogeyman, real name Martin Wright, tweeted a video of him signing a new contract with Sam Tinnesz’s “This Is How Legends Are Made” playing. He included the caption:
thank you #CEO/WWE Vince McMahon

This tweet seems to signal the return of the character to television in the near future.
The former WWE star worked for the company from 2004 – 2009 with sporadic appearances since then. He won the 24/7 Title in 2019 before losing it quickly thereafter.
Wright last appeared in WWE back in January 2021 on Raw Legends Night.
