Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has praised Bret Hart for acting as a mentor to him early in his pro-wrestling career.
Hart was inducted into the Canada Walk of Fame earlier this week. During the broadcast, Johnson made a special appearance to honor the WWE Hall of Famer.
On Twitter, Canada’s Walk of Fame thanked Johnson for his appearance. Johnson retweeted the post, noting that he is grateful for Hart’s guidance. Congratulating his friend once again, Johnson tweeted:
“My pleasure, Bret Hart was a mentor to me when he didn’t have to be and in our wild and intense world of pro wrestling, there weren’t many ‘mentorship programs’ back then. He gave me guidance and I’ll always be grateful. Congrats my friend on your incredible accomplishment”
