The Usos have responded to a WWE star criticizing them and Roman Reigns for attacking CM Punk on Monday Night Raw.
The March 23 Raw episode ended with a confrontation between Roman Reigns and CM Punk, ahead of their World Heavyweight Championship match at WrestleMania 42.
With things getting heated between the two sides in recent weeks, things quickly got physical, with Punk fending off The Usos before being dropped by Roman Reigns.
With the OTC ultimately slamming Punk through the ringside announcer’s table, Xavier Woods previously took to Instagram to note that it was crazy that fans were still “blindly cheering” for Reigns.
Woods has since taken to Twitter to respond to a user asking why everyone has something to say about Reigns, with Woods once again stating that Roman screwed them all for years.
The Usos have now responded to this message, referencing Woods’ history with the Bloodline.
The Usos tweeted:
Uce, We’ll buy u another crown.. Let it go
This is a reference to events which took place in November 2021, following Xavier Woods winning the King of the Ring tournament.
Xavier Woods’ match against Reigns on the November 12, 2021 SmackDown episode ended in a disqualification after The Usos attacked Woods. Following this, the duo put Woods’ crown on Reigns’ head.
The following week’s show saw Reigns destroy the crown while The Usos forced Woods to watch.
Xavier Woods has referenced this moment a number of times in the years since, with it being the reason for his continued animosity towards the Tribal Chief.
With Punk recently being outnumbered against Reigns and The Usos in recent weeks, it does seem that WWE is setting the stage for the World Heavyweight Champion to introduce allies of his own.
Whether Xavier Woods ends up being on Team Punk remains to be seen.
WrestleMania 42 will emanate from Las Vegas’ Allegiant Stadium on April 18-19.
