There was title change during today’s WWE NXT Stand & Deliver 2024 event, taking place hours before WrestleMania 40.
After title retentions from NXT Tag Team Champions Bron Breakker & Baron Corbin, and North American Champion Oba Femi, it was the brand’s Women’s Championship that changed hands.
Roxanne Perez scored the win over Lyra Valkyria today to become a two-time NXT Women’s Champion.
She is only the third woman to ever achieve being a two-time champion after Shayna Baszler and Charlotte Flair.
Perez recently turned heel but the fans at Stand & Deliver were still very happy to see the title win today.
Just before the match, General Manager Ava announced the introduction of a secondary women’s title for NXT, the Women’s North American Championship.
Also, former STARDOM star Giulia was shown on-screen in the crowd ahead of her joining WWE NXT some time soon.
