WWE has taken to social media and its website to announce a new championship match for tonight’s episode of SmackDown on FOX.
The match will be a rematch from WrestleMania Backlash as Dominik & Rey Mysterio will defend the SmackDown Tag Tean Title against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.
The Mysterios won the championship from the ‘Dirty Dawgs’ at Backlash on May 16 despite Dominik not being able to start the match due to an injury inflicted by Roode and Ziggler on the pre-show.
Also set for SmackDown tonight is the return of the Usos to tag team action as they take on the Street Profits.
WrestleTalk.com will of course have live coverage of the show at 8pm ET tonight, and then AEW Dynamite from 10pm.
