On last night’s edition of WWE SmackDown on FOX, two matches including a title bout were announced for next week’s show, along with a TV change.
In terms of the TV change, it was confirmed that SmackDown will be on FS1 next week. This is due to the Pac-12 Football Championships.
One match that was confirmed for the show was Bayley vs Bianca Belair, which has been building up for a number of weeks. It’s a pay-per-view calibre match in terms of the talent involved, but neither of them are champion so it’s on TV instead.
The other match that was confirmed was the Street Profits defending the SmackDown Tag Team Title against Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode.
Again, this match could probably have been on the December 20 TLC pay-per-view instead, and knowing WWE, they could easily do it twice in a row anyway.
