Tony Khan Announces AEW Fyter Fest 2023 AEW

AEW President Tony Khan has provided updates on the AEW shows announced in light of the tragic wildfires in Maui, Hawaii.

Khan previously took to social media to announce that next week’s editions of Dynamite, Rampage and Collision will be Fight For The Fallen 2023 specials, raising money for the Maui Food Bank organisation.

Tony Khan has now thanked Warner Bros Discovery and its TBS and TNT networks for working with AEW on late changes for these shows.

Khan has now announced that AEW Fyter Fest 2023 will now take place in the week leading up to All In on August 27.

He wrote:

Thanks to our great partners @wbd @TBSNetwork @tntdrama for working with us on last moment changes to our marketing assets to move up #FightForTheFallen to next week #AEWDynamite #AEWRampage #AEWCollision Nashville + Lexington to rally support for @MauiFoodBank for those in need.

In conjunction with Fight For The Fallen moving to next week @AEWonTV on @TBSNetwork / @TNTdrama to support @MauiFoodBank, AEW Fyter Fest 2023 Presented by #AEWFightForever will now take place during one of our most important tv weeks ever, week after next, go home week for All In!

AEW has held previous ‘Fight for the Fallen’ themed episodes in the past with the charitable theme, it is admirable to see the company poised to provide a donation to an organization providing local support to those directly impacted.

Similarly, special Fyter Fest episodes of Dynamite have taken place since 2020, however in recent years the Fyter Fest specials have taken place over two weeks.

A number of segments had already been announced for next week’s edition of Dynamite, now set to be ‘Fight For The Fallen’ themed, including Britt Baker vs The Bunny to determine who will advance to the AEW Women’s World Championship Four-Way match at All In, Darby Allin and Nick Wayne vs the Gates Of Agony, and an interview segment with Kenny Omega.
