Tony Khan has revealed that he is unsure about a former AEW champion’s return.

At AEW Double Or Nothing, Toni Storm defeated Jamie Hayter to win the AEW Women’s World Championship. Heading into the show, there were many questions surrounding Hayter’s health.

Hayter was reportedly working with an injury and only competed in a short match at the pay-per-view.

Speaking with Mike Johnson at PWInsider, Khan addressed the absences of both Hayter and Bryan Danielson. Noting that he is unsure about Hayter’s return date, Khan said:

“There is a little more clarity as to when Bryan Danielson will be back from his injury. I’m very excited to get Bryan back.”

“I don’t want to put a timetable because it’s a challenging injury and a tough recovery, but I’m very confident Bryan will be back later this year.”

“I’m still not sure when Jamie Hayter will be cleared. She doesn’t know and we don’t know, but hopefully sooner rather than later. Bryan, I’m very confident you’ll see in a matter of months.”

Jamie Hayter won the AEW Women’s World Championship from Toni Storm at AEW Full Gear 2022 and held the title for 190 days.

As previously reported, Fightful Select reported that Hayter is set to miss AEW All In at London’s Wembley Stadium.
