AEW has officially announced that two top stars are set to return to the ring on tonight’s episode of Collision.
On the October 7 episode of the show, a shocking title change took place, when Ricky Starks and Big Bill defeated FTR in short order to capture the AEW World Tag Team Championship.
The reason for the switch seemingly came down to a creative choice, and FTR’s return has now been announced.
Per AEW, Cash Wheeler and Dax Harwood are set to return to the ring on tonight’s (October 21) episode of AEW Collision.
Tony Khan also announced a ‘dream match’ for tonight’s show, which will see Bryan Danielson take on Andrade El Idolo.
The show will also see the aforementioned Big Bill and Ricky Starks defend their AEW World Tag Team Championship against Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli of the Blackpool Combat Club.
Also set for the show is a Memphis Street Fight between Eddie Kingston and Jeff Jarrett, as well as Miro taking on Action Andretti.
