Top Japanese Star Scheduled To Visit WWE Performance Center

Earlier this week, top Stardom star Utami Hayashishita was photographed training with WWE star Natalya and IYO SKY.

Utami is currently on a trip to the United States, which included her making her Stateside debut for GCW, as well as her and Sumie Sakai being in attendance at this week’s NXT show.

In an update from Dave Meltzer in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Utami was scheduled for a visit to the WWE Performance Center at the invitation of IYO SKY.

Meltzer notes that he was told about this ahead of time, and is not sure if the visit happened, though with NXT taking place in the Performance Center, we have our answer to that.

Utami has previously stated in the past that facing IYO SKY (Io Shirai) is a dream match of her’s.

Utami currently leads the Queen’s Quest faction in Stardom, which was founded by IYO during her time in the company.

IYO recently became Miss Money In The Bank at Money In The Bank in London.

Another wrestler who made an appearance at the WWE Performance Center this week was Brian Pillman Jr, who recently departed AEW due to contract expiry.
