Major Name Set To Return On October 20 SmackDown

A WWE star has confirmed when Logan Paul will return to the company.

On October 14, Logan Paul defeated Dillon Danis in a boxing fight via DQ after a wild brawl broke out during the post match festivities. After the brawl, Paul took some time to be interviewed by Ariel Helwani where he called out Rey Mysterio and said he had his sights set on the United States Championship.

On the latest edition of the MMA Hour with Ariel Helwani, Mysterio responded to Paul and revealed that he will go face-to-face with the social media star this coming Friday on the October 20 episode of SmackDown.

“He said, correct me if I’m wrong, he said, ‘I have my eye on someone and something.’ He said, ‘that US Title, Rey Mysterio.’ So I was like, ‘what did he just say? No way.’ And I had to rewind it and make sure.”

“Yeah he did. Well I’m not hard to find. You can find me every Friday night on SmackDown. So I can’t wait to see what he had to say.”

When asked why he thinks Logan Paul called him out specifically, Mysterio answered:

“I think personally because he’s been doing really good in the ring. He just won a fight, so his opting level is at a peak and his adrenaline is going, so I think he felt very comfortable.”

“Now the question is will he be comfortable whenever we decide to make this match.”

On if this match is now official, Rey replied:

“Well I’m gonna see what he has to say on Friday. We’re gonna have to tune in this Friday night on SmackDown because he called me out and I responded.”

“But now we’re gonna face each other and I gotta hear what he has to say.”

Mysterio went on to confirm that he will go face-to-face with Paul on the October 20 episode of SmackDown. After Helwani teased being involved, Mysterio suggested him doing a segment when the match is announced.
