WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus took part in her first Steel Cage match of her career at last night’s (September 2) WWE Payback premium live event.
The match served as the blowoff to Stratus’ months long rivalry with Becky Lynch, and the two women had an incredible match to open up the show in Pittsburgh.
Becky ended up picking up the win on the show, with Trish’s protegee Zoey Stark turning on Lynch after the match.
After the match, the fans in the arena gave Stratus a standing ovation following the match, which didn’t air on Peacock during the show.
WWE has since uploaded the footage to YouTube, which you can see below.
Trish’s status with the company following the feud with Lynch is not currently known.
