WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H has now paid tribute to Hall of Famer and former WWE Champion the Iron Sheik following his passing.
I was confirmed on Twitter on Wednesday (June 7) that The Iron Sheik, real name Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri, passed away at the age of 81.
Various names from the wrestling world have taken to social media to detail what the Hall of Famer meant to them.
Triple H has now shared a post on Twitter in tribute to the Iron Sheik, calling him an all-time great performer.
Sharing condolences, Triple H wrote:
The legend. An all-time great performer and WWE Hall of Famer who brought his character to life and transcended our business.
My condolences to The Iron Sheik’s family, friends and fans.
Hossein Khosrow Ali Vaziri joined the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the class of 2005, inducted by Sgt Slaughter.
