WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus is in the middle of her latest run in the company.
Trish retired from in-ring competition in 2006, and had wrestled sparingly in the years since, before returning on a full-time basis back in March for her program with Becky Lynch.
Since Trish retired, the women’s division has evolved, with many women taking part in stipulation matches that had previously only been reserved for the men.
Speaking with TVA Sports, Trish Stratus was asked about what kind of match she would like to be a part of.
Trish demanded to be ‘imprisoned in a cage’, not being picky whether it’s a regular cage, Hell In A Cell or Elimination Chamber.
She said:
“Imprison me in a cage. I’ve never had a cage match! And it doesn’t matter what kind of cage. The one without the roof, a Hell in a Cell or an Elimination Chamber. There were so many things we weren’t allowed to do back then. I remember being hit with a chair once and everyone was freaking out. And I was like, my goodness, can you just hit me with a chair!? So now I want a cage!
Trish and Becky are seemingly set for another match at SummerSlam, which could potentially see a stipulation added.
