Now, details have emerged on a return to Australia for the promotion next year.

As revealed by News.com.au, on Saturday, February 14, 2026, AEW will once again hold Grand Slam in Australia – this time it will take place at Qudos Bank Arena in Sydney.

In addition to that, Sunday, February 15, 2026 will play host to AEW House Rules, which will take place in Brisbane.

AEW House Rules shows are untelevised, hence the play on words of “House Rules” with it being a house show, and this show in Brisbane will be the same.

AEW CEO Tony Khan told 9News Queensland:

“February 14 will be AEW Grand Slam Sydney. We’ll have Grand Slam Australia coming to Sydney. We’re gonna have House Rules in Brisbane on February 15.”

Current AEW TNT Champion Kyle Fletcher, himself from Sydney, said:

“(This is) the arena that I first saw professional wrestling in. I was sitting up in the nosebleeds, the cheapest tickets possible, literally about three rows from the back, and I remember that night and just falling even more in love with it.

“So I think, yeah, when I walk into that arena it’s gonna be such a crazy feeling, it’s gonna feel very full circle.”
