Two new matches has been added to tonight’s April 21 edition of WWE SmackDown.
Tonight’s SmackDown has been promoted with two major title bouts as Gunther will defend the Intercontinental Championship against Xavier Woods, while Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez will face Chelsea Green and Sonya Deville for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships.
On Friday afternoon, the WWE Twitter account posted a video with backstage interviewer Megan Morant announcing two new matches for tonight’s lineup.
In tonight’s main event, The Bloodline’s Solo Sikoa will face Matt Riddle in a rematch from last week. However, it will be a No DQ match this time.
The two men will take part in a high profile six-man tag team match at the upcoming WWE Backlash event on May 6. Solo Sikoa will team with The Usos to face Matt Riddle and Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn.
Also announced for the April 21 episode, WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio and fellow LWO member Santos Escobar will face The Judgment Day’s Damian Priest and Finn Balor.
This is a followup to last Friday’s edition of SmackDown where Damian Priest defeated Santos Escobar.
