On last week’s episode of Raw, WWE had advertised that on tonight’s (August 30) show, Sheamus would face the WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, and that The Miz will take on John Morrison.
WWE was heavily hyping up both matches on social media all week, and would be relying on them to draw in the viewers for tonight’s show.
However, WWE has since pulled both matches from the preview of the show on WWE.com. Both matches were present on the site this morning, with Lashley vs Sheamus being advertised as early as two hours ago.
WWE has kept the advertisement for the previously announced Eva Marie vs Doudrop match, as well as advertising a United States Open Challenge.
