Undertaker WrestleMania 35 Status Update

Undertaker WrestleMania 35 Status Update

With WrestleMania 35 coming our way this Sunday, there has of course been speculation about whether or not the legendary Undertaker will be appearing on the show in some capacity.

PWInsider has provided an update, stating that the ‘Deadman’ is indeed slated to be in ‘Mania host state New Jersey come this weekend:

The Undertaker is slated to be in New Jersey for Wrestlemania 35 this weekend, PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

There is no word whether he will have any role in front of the cameras, but he will be in town for the festivities.

There has been no sign or reference to ‘Taker on WWE TV in the buildup to the show, making it fairly difficult to predict – if he is indeed to appear – what exactly he’ll be doing.

A potential scenario includes interrupting Elias, who will be performing music on the show, and even hinted at such in a recent interview. There have also been slightly covert seeds planted recently, such as Elias using Taker’s signature Old School move, and even going back to last year’s WrestleMania when the ‘Living Truth’ interrupted John Cena ahead of Cena’s match with Undertaker himself.

That’s just speculation at this stage though, and it will certainly be interesting to see what plans, if indeed any, are in place for the man so synonymous with the WrestleMania event.

Undertaker had been reportedly confirmed for WWE’s first Saudi Arabia show of the year, which was set for May 3, but that show has now changed date due to logistical reasons.

We will of course have live coverage of WrestleMania on the site this Sunday, as well as a whole host of other shows throughout the rest of the week.
