An update has emerged on another big upcoming match that Jeff Hardy was planned for until news of his latest arrest emerged yesterday.
AEW has stopped promoting the three-way tag title ladder match that was planned for Dynamite, but that isn’t the only big match that Hardy had coming up.
Another was the main event of AAA TripleMania in Tijuana this coming Saturday, which was supposed to be the Hardys vs Dragon Lee and Dralistico.
Dave Meltzer provided an update on the match on Wrestling Observer Radio, saying:
“It was gonna be the Hardys against Dragon Lee and Dralistico as the main event Saturday in Tijuana. They want to keep Matt Hardy in the match, and they would like to get another partner for him. As of right now, there is not that guy, so they’re gonna work on that, and hopefully they’ll find the guy and they’ll be able to make a deal. I know there’s a bunch of guys they’ve asked for, things haven’t happened yet. It’s hard on late notice to get guys to go to Tijuana.”
