There has been an update on the plans for AEW Grand Slam 2023 episodes of AEW television set for next week.
It was confirmed on last night’s broadcast of AEW Rampage (September 15) that the upcoming week of Dynamite and Rampage were set to be Grand Slam editions as in years past.
Also a tradition carrying over from past years of Grand Slam despite other changes to the schedule, the special supersized edition of Rampage.
Filming after AEW Dynamite at Arthur Ashe Stadium, fans will then be treated to a two-hour edition of AEW Rampage set to air on Friday, September 22, 2023.
Already set for Rampage, a big match featuring the TNT Champion Luchasaurus and Christian Cage taking on Darby Allin and Sting with more matches yet to be announced.
So far there have already been several big title bouts announced for AEW’s Grand Slam show with the AEW Women’s World Champ Saraya defending against Toni Storm and the AEW World title on the line as well.
After Samoa Joe won a tournament for the title shot, he will be taking on MJF for the AEW World Championship at Dynamite Grand Slam.
