NJPW
There is a new update on the lineup for the upcoming New Japan Pro Wrestling return to New York City.
NJPW will return to New York City for the first time since the G1 Supercard in 2019 with their Rumble On 44th Street event.
Following a challenge issued by IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White, the Bullet Club leader and Juice Robinson will face Kazuchika Okada and AEW’s Eddie Kingston in the main event for the show on October 28.
Also previously announced for Rumble On 44th Street was KOPW 2022 Provisional Trophy holder Shingo Takagi facing El Phantasmo in a rematch from the recent NJPW Declaration of Power event.
The company has added a stipulation to the bout and one more match as well.
NJPW Strong Openweight Tag Team Champions Aussie Open will defend their titles in a three-way against Kevin Knight and The DKC as well as IMPACT Wrestling’s The Motor City Machine Guns.
As previously reported, a top NJPW star has teased an appearance on the October 18 episode of AEW Dynamite.
