“Very honored” – Bret Hart and Ronda Rousey on Jim Neidhart tribute

This week’s episode of WWE Raw saw the team of Natalya and Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey take on Mickie James and Alexa Bliss. Rousey and Natty would go on to win the bout with Ronda slapping on another one of her trademark armbars on James, however it was a moment earlier in the match that caught the attention of WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart.

In homage to Natalya’s late father, Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart, Rousey and her tag partner executed a Hart Attack onto Alexa Bliss. This was the finisher utilised by The Hart Foundation – Jim Neidhart and Bret Hart – in the past. Natalya took the place of her father, while Rousey took the position of Bret. This caught the eye of the former WWE Champion, who tweeted to show his support.

However it seems Bret Hart is not the only one who’s honored, as Rousey then responded with her own tweet.

Considering previous nods to the late father haven’t been received quite as positively, this is a refreshing view on the homage.
