Here’s what happened with Hangman Page after AEW Revolution 2022 went off the air.
In the main event of the show, Page defended his AEW World Championship against Adam Cole. Some fans speculated that Page was teasing a heel turn in the match, notably nailing Cole with his own finisher in the closing moments of the match.
After the cameras stopped rolling, Page apologised to the crowd for going to a dark place to win the bout. The AEW World Champion noted that AEW can line up challengers for him, mentioning CM Punk, Jon Moxley, Danielson and MJF by name, before stating that he will do whatever it takes to remain champion.
AEW President Tony Khan also addressed the fans, thanking them for their support. Khan noted that the pay-per-view was one of the best of all time, and one of the greatest nights of his life.
AEW Revolution featured a couple of notable debuts, with ‘Swerve’ Strickland and William Regal officially joining the company. You can read our live results for the event right here.
