What Triple H Said To Chelsea Green Following WWE Women’s Championship Victory

What Triple H said to Chelsea Green immediately following her Interim WWE Women’s Championship at SummerSlam revealed.

Prior to WWE SummerSlam, it was revealed that WWE Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley would be out of action due to an injury, with it not known how long she would be out of action for.

With Rhea out of action, WWE announced that an interim WWE Women’s Champion would be crowned at SummerSlam, with Jade Cargill, Tiffany Stratton, Charlotte Flair, Chelsea Green and Lash Legend set to face off in a Ladder match to be named champion.

The match would end up being won by Chelsea Green, with her entering the match as the sentimental favorite among the fans in Minneapolis.

Triple H has since commented on Chelsea’s victory, with her also making reference to comments made by Michael Hayes on WWE Unreal following the show, but WWE has now shared a behind the scenes video from SummerSlam.

In a new video showcasing Triple H’s day at SummerSlam, footage was shown of he and Chelsea immediately following the match, including his initial comments to her.

He told her:

“You always stay ready. You always stay prepared. Everything we’ve given you knocked out of the park.”

Chelsea Green’s WWE Title Victory Gives Hope To Newer Faces

In recent years, one major complaint among WWE fans is the almost exclusive grip a certain number of top stars have on the company’s world championships.

Whether it be Roman Reigns, Cody Rhodes, CM Punk and Seth Rollins on the men’s side, or Rhea Ripley, Liv Morgan and IYO SKY on the women’s side, the top stars of each respective division will often be seen at the top of the food chain in WWE right now.

However, Triple H recently commented on this perception at the post-show media scrum for SummerSlam, noting that talent will tend to get the push ‘once they get over’, which Chelsea’s title win is seemingly evidence of.

However, it’s hard to hear those comments if you’re a fan of wrestlers like LA Knight and Carmelo Hayes and not get at least a little sceptical, though Chelsea’s victory could be a glimmer of hope for those names on the roster.
